YOUR DATA, PLAINLY
Privacy Policy
Effective 13 July 2026
Brutal Spanish is an offline language-learning app provided by Jean-Marc Moro in Spain. This policy explains how the app handles information.
Data collection
Brutal Spanish does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data. The app contains no advertising, analytics, tracking technology, user accounts, or third-party software development kits.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple. The app checks Apple-provided StoreKit entitlement information to unlock the A1 level. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple handles payment information under its own privacy policy.
Information stored on your device
Lesson progress, quiz results, study status, and streak information are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. This information is used only to provide app features and is not accessible to us.
Audio and permissions
Lesson audio is included with the app and plays locally. The app does not request access to your microphone, camera, photos, contacts, location, or other sensitive device data.
Retention and deletion
Local learning data remains on your device until you delete it through app features, if available, or delete the app. Deleting the app removes its locally stored data, subject to device and iCloud backup settings managed by Apple.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users. It is not submitted to Apple's Kids category.
Changes
If a future version changes these practices, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the change takes effect.
